Students entering USF as Freshmen or new transfers are asked to attend a Student Orientation organized by the College of Arts and Sciences. Kinesiology Faculty attend the orientation and introduce the students to their major and their areas of expertise.

Group Advising

Continuing students are required to meet with their adviser before they are allowed to register for the subsequent semester. Students must attend one of two advising parties provided prior to registration. If attendance is not possible, individual appointments must be made with the student’s adviser.

Individual Advising

Every Kinesiology major is assigned a faculty member, with whom he or she may consult regarding academic or career matters.
