Wednesday, April 29 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
University Center — 402/403 - Conference Room
Amidst disruptions in climate policy and democracy, efforts on climate action and environmental justice are still ongoing – and we can be part of them. Join us to gain insight on the disruptions, hear examples of progress (local, state, global), and learn strategies that you can apply.
The entire USF community is invited to attend. This event is part of GoUSF’s April Environmental Justice Programming.
About the speaker: Stephanie Siehr, PhD (Prof. in USF MSEM, ENVS, ENVA) combines systems thinking and social justice, engineering and policy analysis, art and music, to address a range of environmental issues, from global climate to local air quality, from international cooperation to sustainable cities, from extraction to regeneration. Dr. Siehr is currently working on a new environmental policy book and action guide that focuses on skill-building and highlights the power of collaboration and community.
