    Financial Aid

The School of Law has once again, obtained the services of Dr. Jeffrey Hanson, a nationally recognized financial advisor, to present an important Debt Management seminar titled Strategies for Smart Borrowers, on Wednesday, October 14th from 12:00 pm to 1:20 pm in KH, Room 100.

Lunch will be provided at this seminar. To help with our planning, please RSVP, here by October 12th.

Dr. Hanson will also meet individually with our students (and their partners) in private counseling appointments (40 minutes), October 12, 13 & 14(M, Tue, W).

These appointments should reduce the stress associated with borrowing by equipping students with a financial action plan. Dr. Hanson will explain how to get the most out of your financial life (during and after law school), by providing you with loan repayment options and debt management advice. These appointments are extremely popular with medical and law students across the country.

Appointments are available to our students free of charge and are made on a first come, first serve basis. See attached flyer for details or book appointments here. The schedule fills very quickly and there is no wait list, so if you’re interested please book as soon as possible. If you have any additional questions regarding the presentation or the counseling appointments, please feel free to email me, call 415.422.6210, or stop by the Law Financial Aid Office at 238 Kendrick Hall (2nd Floor).

    Office of the Dean

Meet the Dean and Hear About the Benefits of Joining the St. Thomas More Society.
The St. Thomas More Society of San Francisco is a fellowship of Catholic lawyers and judges committed to the pursuit of true legal service.  This organization invites law students to become members for free and offers opportunities for camaraderie, mentorship, networking, and scholarships.  The Dean is a member of the Executive Committee and would welcome the opportunity to talk with interested students.  Please contact Donna Creasman at dlcreasman@usfca.edu to schedule a time to meet with the Dean.
