This organization invites law students to become members for free and offers opportunities for camaraderie, mentorship, networking, and scholarships. Tax Appeals Assistance Program (TAAP)
Get hands-on litigation and tax experience at TAAP! This is a unique opportunity represent real clients with real financial liabilities in an active administrative process.
Skills include: client relations, evidence development, legal writing, oral advocacy, regulatory practice, and controversy practice. Also: develop writing samples and relationships with BOE attorneys who could serve as references.
