Resources

When planning an on-campus event, the Advancement Events team will work directly with Events Management & Guest Services (EM&GS), our university wide in-house events team, to ensure all logistical details are taken care of including catering, AV, parking, and schematics.

Please remember that the university has an exclusive contract with Bon Appetit Catering to be the sole caterer on campus, and we are not able to work with external catering vendors when hosting an event on site.

When hosting an event or meeting off campus, we recommend using the following vendors listed below.

Restaurant Recommendations

Need a recommendation to take a donor or alumnus to lunch? We have curated a list of local quality restaurants where you can take donors or alumni.

Recommended Local Eateries:

Due to tight bandwidth, Bon Appetit Catering, USF’s exclusive caterer has a firm food policy of a 10 order minimum per food selection. This has made it challenging to bring donors to campus for intimate luncheons. As we head into the public phase of the campaign,  EM&GS has approved for the Office of Advancement to order food through external eateries for on campus donor luncheons with 10 people or less. For on campus luncheons of more than 10 people, Bon Appetit Catering must be used.
