About the Campus Climate Survey
In the fall of 2017, USF conducted a survey asking all students, faculty, and staff to share their perspectives on the campus climate — what it’s like to live, learn, and work at the university. The survey was anonymous, and conducted by the independent consulting firm of Rankin & Associates. In five weeks, 4,486 people completed the survey for an overall response rate of 34 percent. Of this number, 45 percent were undergraduate students, 26 percent were graduate students, 15 percent were staff members, and 13 percent were faculty.
