Registration: General Chemistry I

Students who wish to enroll in General Chemistry I must register for all three of the following:

• CHEM 111 General Chemistry I (Lecture) (3 credits)
• CHEM 112 General Chemistry I (Laboratory) (1 credit)
• CHEM 186 Quantitative Approaches to General Chemistry I (1 credit)

CHEM 186 is a recitation section that consists of one-hour, once-a-week evening sessions. Students will review chemistry concepts covered in lecture and will work through practice problems in small groups.
