Laptop/Accessories Loaner Program
The College of Arts & Sciences Dean's Office is now offering a Laptop/Accessories Loaner Program. The purpose of the program is to provide a short-term loaner laptop and/or accessories to eligible Faculty and Staff for the performance of their duties at the College of Arts & Sciences at USF.
Loaner laptops and/or accessories will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. A loaner is for one semester and will need to be returned at the end of the semester in which it was borrowed. It will be an ITS Standard Hardware Mac or PC laptop with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of ssd storage. All the standard USF software will be installed and the laptops will be remotely managed for security and updates by USF, in compliance with all USF ITS computer asset policies.

By applying for a loaner laptop and/or computer accessories, you agree to the following conditions:
- Fulfillment: Requests are fulfilled based on availability.
- Loan Period: All equipment is loaned for one semester and must be returned after grades have been submitted for that semester.
- Laptop Management: Loaner laptops will have all Standard USF Software. Security and updates will be managed by ITS.
- Additional Software and Support: Loaner laptops are managed by Elias Husary who will install any additional software and provide first-line technical support for the loaner laptops.
- Data Backups: Data backups are the responsibility of the borrow of the laptop. Standard USF backup software will not be installed.
- Responsibility: Consistent with all USF policies, the borrower is responsible for any loaned equipment and ensuring it is returned in good condition.
- Data Deletion: Upon return of the loaner laptop, all user created data, files and settings will be deleted. Please remove any data you need before returning the laptop.
