"Professor Leung is an asian woman with short black hair, wearing a floral dress"Professor Genevieve Leung is a professor of Rhetoric and Language at USF and the director of the PBFO. A former Fulbright Taiwan grantee, she has been involved with screening Fulbright applications and other international exchange and fellowship programs. One of her big goals for the office is to get more USF students involved in applying for and winning grants and fellowships.  

 

 

Carrie, a Junior Nursing Major, is the Post-Bacc Office's Student Assistant. As a J. Paul Getty Scholar, she is passionate about healthcare and global experiences and has participated in international programs abroad in China and Taiwan. Carrie hopes to pursue a career in nursing focused on health equity, patient education, and culturally responsive care. Through her work with the Post-Bacc Office, she is excited to help students discover fellowship and academic opportunities that support their personal and professional goals.

 

 

Brandon, a USF Biology graduate, is the Post-Bacc Office's Data Management & Operations Associate. He is interested in medicine and biological research and has worked in habitat restoration projects, clinical research, and as a hospital volunteer. Brandon is looking to pursue a career in medicine, exploring ways to improve patient outcomes and innovations in culturally responsible treatments. He is eager to support students applying for fellowship opportunities that can help develop their careers.

Sofia, a senior sociology major, was the previous Post-Bacc offices Student Assistant. Sofia "sofia is a white woman with shoulder length brown hair, smiling in a headshot"studied abroad in Argentina, has interned in Sacramento and San Francisco, and is interested in the intersection of public policy, health, and education. Sofia is currently in the process of applying to grants, and is committed to providing and support and confidence to students interested in applying to fellowships.
