Ryann Summers has been supporting survivors of sexual violence for over ten years. She draws from her experience as a counselor and advocate to create a safe and empowering space. In addition to holding an E-RYT 500 from Yoga Tree, Ryann's trauma-informed yoga teaching approach is based on training from Zabie Yamasaki, Dave Emerson, and Lisa Danylchuk. Ryann's classes are nourishing and grounding, encouraging students to care for both their physical and emotional bodies.
Andrea (Drey), M.Ed., 200-RYT, is a passionate educator and advocate who fully believes in the immeasurable power of yoga as a healing art.
Having worked in higher education for more than 15 years Drey is grateful for the opportunity to work with and alongside amazing students who continue to inspire through their hope and resiliency.
Drey has a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, Masters of Education from the University of South Carolina, 200 hour yoga training from Yoga Tree (San Francisco) and is currently working towards completing her 500 hours yoga training also with Yoga Tree.
Her teaching style is based on respect and reverence for her students’ own inner teacher and personal wisdom. She is guided by the principles of awareness, compassion and love along with her own insatiable curiosity.
