Earth Week 2024: April 22 through April 26
Nature in Our City
Join USF in celebrating Earth Month as the Office of Sustainability hosts Earth Week 2024! Featuring multiple events throughout the week of April 22, our theme highlights the beautiful spaces and integration of our natural environment in an urban landscape. We hold reverence for the biodiversity maintained in San Francisco, with the communal effort to continue its flourishing and growth. When we think about cities, nature typically isn't the first image in mind... we challenge that notion by emphasizing the interconnectedness that human creation has alongside the environmental phenomena that nurtures us.
The events listed below are open to the public, and directions to our campus can be found on the USF website. Partnered with multiple groups, including local organizations, clubs, and departments, we look forward to hosting the following events:
Tuesday, April 23: Earth Day Celebration
Wednesday, April 24: Honey Extraction and Seed Library
Thursday, April 25: Spring Thrift Pop-up and Little Library
Friday, April 26: Neighborhood Cleanup with Refuse Refuse SF
