CRASE-Data Institute Partnership
CRASE continues its collaboration with the USF Data Institute. This initiative, led by Shan Wang and Cody Carroll, aims to expand the role of data science across disciplines at USF by encouraging innovative research partnerships. Through this initiative, we seek to provide analytical support to existing research projects, inspire new research ideas, support grant development, and apply data science methodologies to make significant contributions to a wide range of research fields.
If your idea or project involves this type of work, please reach out to us. After providing some basic information on your project or needs, we will determine the type of consultant support we can offer you. We anticipate allocating a maximum of 8-10 consultant hours per project. Should your project require more time than this limit, we highly recommend exploring a collaborative engagement (i.e.,co-authorship/PI-ship/developership, etc.) with your consultant.
Throughout the academic year, our goal is to pair you with a consultant within 1-2 weeks of receiving your project description; however, responses received during the summer may take longer to respond to.
We’re excited to continue this partnership and are hopeful that this will better support our faculty, enhance collaborations across the university, and improve productivity. If you have any questions about this partnership, and/or would like to be added to the supporting faculty consultant list, please email CRASE at crase@usfca.edu.
