Passing of USF Student David Hutchinson

I am saddened to inform you that USF student David Hutchinson passed away on Aug. 29. 

David Thomas Hutchinson was born on May 28, 1991 in the suburbs of Chicago. David was active in sports throughout his young life and played baseball, basketball, and in-line hockey. His favorite sport was basketball and he was an avid Chicago Bulls fan. David was a friend to all and enjoyed meeting and getting to know people. He had a tremendous sense of humor and liked animals, especially dogs.

David graduated from Lake Park High School in Roselle, IL. David completed some college work in Illinois as well as Los Angeles, CA. David realized he had an interest and aptitude in computer science and in 2017, he enrolled at USF to complete his degree. David was also Assistant Systems Administrator for the computer science department in the College of Arts and Sciences. He was intending to complete his coursework this fall to earn his degree. 

David is remembered as an intelligent, kind, and treasured member of his family. His family would like to thank the staff at USF for their care and helpfulness during this difficult time of loss. 

David’s family is hosting a celebration of his life on Monday, Sept. 27 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. (CDT) at SixtyFour Wine Bar & Kitchen, 123 Water Street in Naperville, Illinois.
