Spokane Fires Emergency Assistance

Wildfires in Spokane, Washington, home of Gonzaga University, have burned 10,000 acres in the city and surrounding area and destroyed more than 900 homes, displacing university families and others in the community. Gonzaga has created a community resource page for staff and faculty. The university community’s most immediate need is financial support to help Gonzaga individuals and families navigate urgent and rapidly changing circumstances. Donations support emergency assistance through the President's Discretionary Fund which provides immediate and ongoing resources for Gonzaga community members impacted by the fires. Spokane’s Bishop A. Thomas Daly has called for prayers for the community.
