Jewish Studies and Social Justice

Student and Faculty outside the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem

The Swig Program in Jewish Studies and Social Justice minor engages students in both theoretical and practical applications of the meanings of social justice and activism rooted in the Jewish traditions.

The program presents a number of annual events, such as a Speaker Series on Jewish Identities, a Social Justice Lecture, a Human Rights Lecture, and Social Justice Passover Seder, as well as study abroad courses, intermittent films, presentations, and workshops. You can view these events on our blog.
