Updated standards include use of pronouns on business cards and name badges.
The university's branding and identity standards have been updated to include the use of pronouns on business cards and name badges. Please view the new standards on the Resources webpage.
A special thank you goes to LGBTQ Faculty and Staff Caucus Board Members, Rich Dillon and Eric Bass, for their hard work getting this initiative in front of the Board of Trustees. Rich drafted the proposal submitted at the Board committee meeting. Eric designed the mock up business cards and name badges and assisted with proposal copy editing.

Create: USF LGBTQ Pride Video
Submissions due June 15
SF Pride Weekend June 26-28 is an important time for the LGBTQ community to come together, to build community, and celebrate the progress we have made thus far. In honor of Pride Month this year the Gender & Sexuality Center and the LGBTQ Caucus will come together to create a short video (up to 30 seconds) to celebrate PRIDE this year. Please consider being a part of the video and making a submission by our June 15, 2020 deadline. Click on this link for instructions and the form. Contact Lionell Daggs at email@example.com with any questions.
Include: USF LGBTQ OUT List ️
The Caucus Core Team and the Gender and Sexuality Center are working in tandem to develop a USF campus “out list.” This opportunity would be entirely voluntary and would look like what other institutions have implemented to support building connections and community among students, faculty, and staff. Ideally, this is a way for us to make community members more visible on the Hilltop. Here are examples of what these lists look like at other institutions:
This list would be shared with students who attend the LGBTQIA+ Student Social in a couple of weeks. It would be maintained in the long term online as a resource for students on the USF LGBTQ Caucus web site. For our list we would feature your name, pronouns, role on campus, and contact details. If you wish to appear on this list please click on this link to complete the form. At this time, though we love all of our allies -- please note that this list would be a means to highlight out individuals that identify as such.
Advise: Prizm Student Club
USF’s undergraduate LGBT organization, Prism, is seeking a staff or faculty advisor starting in the fall--required to retain their gold organization status. The position is fairly lax, consisting of meetings with their board once or twice a semester, and some paperwork. Please contact their president, Ezra Christianson-Buck at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more.
Participate: (Not IRL) Global Pride Summit
June 22 - 26
