During the COVID-19 pandemic community organizations are looking for volunteers to help with a number of essential activities from: helping with food distribution and shopping for those who are immune compromised; to tutoring child who are not in school. #CaliforniansForAll Summer of Service allows students, teens, and young adults across the state the opportunity to support organizations providing essential services and to receive recognition from the First Partner and California Volunteers, Office of the Governor for their commitment.

San Francisco Village helps seniors at home, and does background checks on all their volunteers for the safety of their clients. Fromm Institute has been referring their students who need assistance, as well as anyone wanting to volunteer to help people.
