Construction Projects Overview

In recent years, USF has completed several large-scale construction projects that have provided more student housing, improved dining facilities, and various infrastructure improvements.
The University’s plans for future campus construction projects are listed in the University of San Francisco’s Institutional Master Plan (IMP), accepted by the San Francisco Planning Commission at its public hearing on July 24, 2025.
The IMP proposes eleven potential projects over the next ten years. No projects are currently scheduled for construction. Project decisions are subject to University priorities, timelines, and funding.
Five Year Horizon
- Masonic East: Renovation
- Residential: Windows Replacement
- Parker Street: Visitor Arrival Area
- Gleeson/Geschke: Plaza and Fountain Renovation
- Benedetti Diamond: Turf Replacement
- University Center: Loading Dock Upgrades
Ten Year Horizon
- Harney Science Center: Renovation
- Stanyan Street: Student Residences
- Fulton Street: Student Residences
- Lone Mountain: Parking Lot Reconfiguration
- Fulton Street: Academic Building
