Dear Members of the USF Community,
As many of you know, Chris Liang, a member of USF’s graduating Class of 2022 and a business major, died in a car crash earlier this week. His family will hold a memorial service on Thursday, March 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. in Saint Ignatius Church to honor Chris’s life.
We know many of you supported the Liang family with prayers and messages, and have also contributed to the efforts to help his parents and sister travel from China to San Francisco. Thank you for continuing to hold Chris and his family in your hearts.
Chris’s brother, Jerry Liang, asked me to share this message: “Chris Liang led his life wholeheartedly and unapologetically. Join us to #Find the truth and love that Chris brought to the world.” All are welcome to Thursday’s memorial service.
Letters of condolence can be sent to Jerry Liang, in care of University Ministry by mail or by email to um@usfca.edu. Contributions in memory of Chris can be made to GoFundMe.
