AJCU Faith, Justice, and Reconciliation Assembly

The Faith, Justice, and Reconciliation Assembly: Creation of a Hope-Filled future was held at Loyola University Chicago from July 16-19, 2024. This program was created and sponsored by the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU). USF sent a cohort of thirteen to this assembly. The theme of the Assembly, "Creation of a Hope-filled Future" was inspired by the Universal Apostolic Preferences (UAPs) of the Society of Jesus, which provide an Ignatian "horizon, a point of reference to the whole Society of Jesus" (Jesuits Global). The Assembly sough to begin in gratitude and end in hope. Participants returned with good ideas and plans to further plant seeds of hope at USF. If you have questions about the assembly or its outcome, please contact our chancellor and chief mission officer, Fr. John P. Fitzgibbons, S.J.
