Fulltime Faculty

All fulltime faculty are assigned an office and a phone extension.  Fulltime faculty are only allowed one office. The office comes furnished and with basic office supplies. If you wish to see if there is alternative furniture available or need additional office supplies please contact Regina Maniti.

At least once a year the School of Management will hold an office bidding. Fulltime faculty who are interested in relocating to a new office will express their ranked interest in the available office space. The office space will then be assigned based on faculty seniority. Seniority is based on the incoming semester as a fulltime faculty and not the specific hire date or any past roles one may have held at USF. If more than one faculty is interested in the same office and have the same seniority one will be assigned at random.

Adjunct Faculty

Hilltop:

The Hilltop adjunct faculty lounge is located in Malloy Hall in MH 244.

There is a private office located in this area that all adjuncts have access to. This space is available on a first come first served space. If you need to reserve it for a one-off meeting please post a sign saying it is reserved on a certain date and time a week before.  No ongoing reservation of the private office is permitted so that it can be shared by all.

The following are courtesy reminders on behalf of your fellow adjunct faculty members with whom you will be sharing the space. Your attention to these reminders is most appreciated.

  • Office hours should be observed as you have advertised.

  • Any large tutoring sessions should be held elsewhere.

  • Pick up all trash and maintain a clean environment.

  • Do not let students use the room for large meetings or printing. The printer in this office is for faculty use only, TAs are the exception.

  • Feel free to use any cubicle in this space. No cubicle or chair belongs to any particular individual.  Please refrain from posting any notes that say otherwise.

Downtown Campus:

There is no designated office space at the Downtown Campus. Please see the reception desk on the fifth floor if you need private meeting space and they will try to accommodate  you.

Major Office

Each SOM major has an office space dedicated to their use. The use of his office is at the discretion of the major lead.

Staff Office Space

Staff have assigned office space. Please be respectful when entering their workspace by using designated doors, not entering anyone's office or cube without invitation, and keeping conversation low so as to not disturb others.  It is best to make an appointment and not drop in unexpectedly.

Do not use any workspace including empty cubes even for a short amount of time as they may be shared workspace for the staff or student workers who just stepped away.  If you need workspace and do not have an office at your current location please book space through EMS.
