Women in Technology (WiT) is dedicated to supporting, engaging and empowering women in STEM. The mission of WIT is to aid in the growth and development of women, to create a strong, inclusive community of women in technology, and to provide opportunities for academic and professional success. WiT holds a strong presence here in the Computer Science community at the University of San Francisco. Every week, we hold meetings, social events, workshops, panels, or talks. We create a safe, welcoming space for young women to feel comfortable and a part of the computing community because it can be an overwhelming environment in many ways.
ACM brings together computing educators, researchers, and professionals, to inspire dialogue, share resources, and address the field's challenges. As the world's largest computing society, ACM strengthens the profession's collective voice through strong leadership, promotion of the highest standards, and recognition of technical excellence. ACM supports the professional growth of its members by providing opportunities for life-long learning, career development, and professional networking.
The UX/UI Hub is a community for students interested in design, tech, and everything in between. We go beyond the classroom by hosting events, workshops, and projects where you can learn new skills, connect with others, and grow as a designer or developer. Whether you’re just curious about UX/UI or already building a portfolio, we’re here to support you, share ideas, and create together.
The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) empowers Black and underrepresented students in STEM through professional development, mentorship, community outreach, and academic support. Our mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically.
The AI Club aims to provide a collaborative space for students to explore the impact of artificial intelligence on the evolving tech landscape. Our goal is to foster learning and innovation by encouraging students to collaborate on projects that deepen their understanding of AI. We also plan to host guest speakers from the AI industry to offer insights into the current capabilities of AI and its future potential!
SWE is dedicated to empowering women in Engineering and other STEM related fields in their prospective career while offering professional help, advice, and connections.
