Mission Statement

The department of project management is responsible for ensuring that major construction projects on campus are planned, designed and built such that they meet the needs of the campus community.

Project Management assembles project teams of campus user groups, architects, contractors, and other consultants. It then guides the project team through all aspects of planning, design, and construction in a collaborative manner. It strives to use processes which are simple, inclusive, and well documented. Understanding that project requirements must be balanced within project resources, it facilitates the decision making process by providing information, developing alternatives, and analyzing the impact of decision alternatives.
