Lo Schiavo CSI closed 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, to Wednesday, May 22
Gleeson Plaza closed from Monday, May 20, to Wednesday, May 22
USF Facilities Management and its contractors plan to replace ventilation equipment on the roof of the Lo Schiavo Center for Science and Innovation (CSI) from May 20 to May 22. The work will involve the delivery and placement of a large crane, the lifting and placement of new ventilation equipment, and then the removal of the crane. For safety reasons, CSI, Gleeson Plaza, and the center drives will be closed as detailed below:
- The building entrances to CSI will be closed effective Sunday, May 19, at 4 p.m.
- Gleeson Plaza will be closed May 20–22.
- Lo Schiavo CSI and Gleeson Plaza will be closed May 20-22.
- On Monday, May 20, the main driveway at Parker will be closed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic while the crane is being delivered and set up. On Wednesday, May 22, the same area will be closed again while the crane is being deconstructed and removed.
- Gleeson/Geschke will be accessible from the west side leading to the main entrance and from the east side Geschke Atrium entrance.
- Harney will be accessible from all regular entrances except the interior hallways from CSI.
Please use caution when traveling in the affected areas, pay attention to all directions from Public Safety and worksite personnel, and do not cross the temporary barriers that will be in place.
