We are saddened to inform the community of the passing of Eunjoo Kim, a junior majoring in nursing at USF. Eunjoo passed away on May 27, 2025.
Her family shared the following statement with USF: “Eunjoo truly, deeply loved the University of San Francisco. Her dream was to become a pediatric nurse, caring for and healing children. We are heartbroken that her journey ended too soon, but we are grateful that she spent her time at a university she loved so much.”
Several members of the community have offered a few words to share with our community:
“Deep peace to you Eunjoo and through all of the pain may your family, friends and classmates eventually find their way there too.” - Professor Hurley
