USF Testing & Booster Clinics

Hello USF Students,

Welcome to the spring semester. A big thank you to all of you who have uploaded your COVID-19 vaccination booster and re-entry testing information into Med+Proctor.

For students who were not able to get a testing appointment before their first on-campus interaction (class, meeting, moving into a residence hall) and who have not already tested through a USF testing clinic, you can do so at the times below. Most are drop-in testing clinics, with no appointment or pre-registration required.

The above dates and times are for students who still need a COVID-19 test prior to their first interaction on campus.

*For testing with GoHealth, you must register online in advance. If you are getting a test with GoHealth, you will need to have a copy of your insurance card and a photo ID and will speak with a medical doctor prior to the test. If you have been referred to UC fifth floor for a test, please bring your university ID.

If you are symptomatic or have had a known exposure to COVID you need to email covidtracing@usfca.edu and you will be referred accordingly.

Booster Mandate Reminder for Students

All eligible, fully vaccinated students are required to receive a COVID-19 booster and provide documentation of it to Med+Proctor. Individuals are eligible for a booster six months after receiving the final dose of the Moderna vaccine, five months after receiving the final dose of the Pfizer vaccine, and two months after receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. This information has already been shared with students, and the latest CDC guidance on boosters is available on the CDC website.

BOOSTER CLINICS

USF will host two more drop-in booster clinics this semester. These clinics are open to faculty, staff, and students and no appointment or advance registration is required. They will take place on the following dates:

  • Thursday, Feb. 3 | 12–2 p.m.
    Location: UC 502/504
  • Thursday, Feb. 10 | 12–2 p.m.
    Location: UC 502/504

Health and Safety Reminders

Please review the following practices to protect your health and well-being, and the health and well-being of the community:

  • Continue to monitor for symptoms. You must submit your daily Dons Health Check or submit symptoms directly to covidtracing@usfca.edu. If you are not coming to campus, you are not required to submit daily symptom checks, but please contact covidtracing@usfca.edu if you need information.
  • Wash your hands often for at least 20 seconds.
  • Wear face coverings while indoors, and outdoors when distancing cannot be maintained.
  • Limit large group settings whenever possible.
  • Stay home when sick or not feeling well.
  • Utilize hand sanitizer often, including from the stands located throughout campus.

It takes all of us to make sure we are keeping our community as safe as possible. Keep those masks on even when you are out and about in the community. Thank you for all you are doing to keep our community as safe as possible.

Sincerely,

COVID Management Team
