Sociology Department's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certificate Program for CAS Undergraduate Students

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are key forces that allow organizations and communities to thrive and reach their fullest potential.

This certificate program helps our undergraduate students translate what they learn in USF classrooms into a valuable and practical tool so they can become a formidable and productive leader of their future workplaces and communities that they wish to serve. This program allows students to earn this certificate simply by taking three DEI-focused electives in various social science and humanities programs and participating in one 2-3 hour DEI workshop led by a DEI professional practitioner.
