Mission Statement

Think of your college career as a book that you are about to begin. Before you start the first chapter, you read the introduction, or foreword. The Muscat Scholars Program is your introduction to the University of San Francisco, the book that you will soon open and begin exploring.

The Muscat Scholars program helps 1st generation college students achieve their goals by introducing them to academic expectations at USF and helping them design their own unique path to success. The program also aims to prepare students to thrive in the University of San Francisco’s multicultural environment and to become leaders in the USF community.
