Coursework and Timeline

Overview

This page provides an overview of the Credential and Master's Course requirements. In order to enroll in the programs, students must apply to and be accepted into the Credential and Master’s programs simultaneously. Students may choose to change their Master’s program by submitting a Change of Academic Program Form that is approved by their Program Coordinator, Advisor, and Department Chair. Students should not complete this form until they have been approved by the parties listed.

Credential Coursework

In addition to the Masters's courses, students are required to complete Credential Coursework in order to be granted a Preliminary Credential. Below is the credential course timeline for Multiple Subject, Single Subject, Multiple Subject - UTEC and Single Subject - UTEC students at the Hilltop Campus. For Hilltop TED students, all questions related to the Credential Coursework and Timeline should be directed to their Advisor and the TED Program Coordinator, Melissa Duphily. For students at Branch Campus locations, please reach out to your Campus Director. Please also note that a Program Checklist can be found in the Orientation Folder that is distributed at the start of the student's program and during advising week in the Advising Week Resource Guide.
