Report It
Hazing impacts the entire community. As such, it is on all of us to report hazing when we are made aware of it taking place. Our values and policies empower community members to report hazing that they have witnessed, been victimized by, or suspect someone they know has been hazed.
REPORT HAZING (BOX)
The University’s ability to effectively address incidents of hazing and enforce our Student Conduct Code relies heavily on the accuracy and detail of the information provided. We encourage you to provide as much specific information as possible (e.g., location, dates, times, description of activity, participants, etc.) so that the University can take appropriate action in a timely manner. For reporting purposes, you have the option to report anonymously, though it could make it difficult for University officials to conduct a thorough investigation of the incident without the ability to contact the source of the report.
We also acknowledge that it can feel stressful to report for many reasons. The university is here to support you. If you’re uncertain about reporting, you can reach out to the Dean of Students Office to discuss all of the available options confidentially.
