Join on GoUSFchallenges.org » 

In this intellectual wellness challenge, check in each time that you read for 15 minutes. You will be automatically entered into a drawing for a chance to win a prize after checking in 15 times. 

Book Recommendations

Gleeson Library

Visit Gleeson Library to view their favorite Staff Picks (located on the first floor near the puzzle tables) or browse through the Award Picks (located near the reference desk under the LCD TV screen) which include books that have won the Pulitzer, Mann Booker, Orange, Agatha, or Hugo awards.

Join us for a tour of Gleeson Library and get to know their new and on-going departments, including Thacher Gallery and Instructional Technology and Training. We’ll visit new areas including the innovation lab, active learning classroom, study rooms, and the Mac Lab classroom.

Lib-R-Bocce and Pot Luck

Friday, June 15  |  11 a.m.–2 p.m.
St. Ignatius/Kalmanovitz lawn

Come play bocce ball tournament-style with the Gleeson Library staff! In the pot luck spirit, please bring your favorite snacks/appetizers to share. All levels of bocce ball experience welcome! Young Minds at Work

Bring your kids to USF to explore various departments, engage in hands-on activities, and enjoy a complimentary brown bag lunch! Your "kids" can include grandkids, nieces, nephews, friends' kids, etc.

Meet the Author: Glori Simmons

Glori Simmons, Director of Thacher Gallery and award-winning author, will read from and discuss her book Carry You, winner of the 2016 Autumn House Fiction Prize. Set during the Iraq War, these linked stories move between the lives of the Khalil family in Baghdad and Clark, an American GI, examining the impact of war on two families on two continents.
