Healthcare Network Update, September 2, 2022

A change regarding your Stanford Health healthcare network provider

Anthem Blue Cross of California and Stanford Health have been engaged in negotiations to renew the terms of their contract. The parties have not reached a new agreement, which means that the contract expired on September 1, 2022, at 12:00 a.m. Both Anthem and Stanford Health will continue to negotiate in good faith in an effort to reach an agreement.

For additional information regarding this change and how it might affect you, contact the member services number indicated on your health plan ID card.

Transition/Continuity of Care

If you are currently receiving care from a Stanford Health provider, you may request continuity of care (COC) through Anthem Blue Cross of California. If COC is approved, you will continue to receive care at the preferred (in-network) benefit level. If the above circumstances apply to you, please call the Member Services number on the back of your ID card for more information.
