A UNAC/UHCP labor strike is underway at Kaiser Permanente

The United Nurses Associations of California/Union of Health Care Professionals (UNAC/UHCP) is conducting an open-ended strike involving a limited number of Northern California employees. This union represents 2,800 health care workers, including nurse anesthetists, certified nurse midwives, acupuncturists, physician assistants, occupational, speech, and physical therapists, and other skilled employees.

Kaiser hospitals, medical offices, and pharmacies remain open. Kaiser has put strong plans in place to ensure your care continues without interruption.
