HR New Employee Orientations
Human Resources conducts orientation sessions to help new faculty and staff get connected to the community and processes at USF. We recommend attending orientation during your first week so that you have the information required to complete benefits enrollment within your first 30 days.
NOTE: Full-time faculty orientations only take place in August every year prior to the start of the new academic year. If you are a new full-time faculty member who has been hired after the start of the academic year, please sign up for the staff orientation.
Employment and Benefits Orientation
Employment orientation introduces new employees to important university policies, programs, and websites. New employees will learn about the forms and processes that they need to complete within the first few days and weeks of their employment. The benefits orientation provides benefits-eligible faculty and staff with an overview of all benefits options available at the university. The benefits orientation has been designed to ensure new faculty and staff have enough information to make informed decisions about the coverage they need. You must enroll for your benefits within 30 days of your hire date. Please contact the Benefits Team at benefits@usfca.edu if you have any questions.
Orientations take place in-person at 2800 Turk Blvd., Lone Mountain North, Third Floor, San Francisco, CA 94118
Enter Lone Mountain Main on the ground floor; walk straight through the main floor dining commons, crossing the bridge walkway to Lone Mountain North. Use the buzzer to request access to the building. The elevators will be on your right. Please go to the third floor. We look forward to seeing you!
