Happy 14th Anniversary to the Go Move Challenge! Just six days in, we’re already off to a roaring start. With 20 universities competing this year, participation continues to grow—and the minutes logged so far are nothing short of impressive. Together, we’ve already logged 500,000 minutes (surely a record!). After a brief hiatus, Loyola Marymount has rejoined the challenge and, as always, is proving to be a strong contender. It’s not too late to join—register now and retroactively log your minutes starting February 1. Don’t miss out on the fun!
Check out the challenge homepage for the most current minutes and university rankings. The top five universities by average minutes per participant are especially impressive—SCU, John Carroll, Marquette, Saint Joseph’s, and Saint Peter’s—with every one of them logging over 200 minutes per person so far. 💪.
Let's Get This Party Started!
Many of our universities had kick-off parties to encourage employees to participate
Loyola Marymount University
After a couple-year break, LMU is back and better than ever. They kicked off the challenge with a morning walk—mascot Iggy the Lion included! From pickleball and morning yoga to run club and more, there’s no shortage of ways to get moving. With 95 teams competing in mini challenges, LMU is bringing the energy in full force. 🦁💪The images below highlight several teams who joined the kick-off walk, captured in a collage, along with lunchtime salsa dancing and team photos from a creative photo challenge.

University of San Francisco
USF once again hosted a happy hour followed by a Women’s Basketball game. Faculty, staff, librarians, and their family members were invited, with more than 120 attendees joining in the fun. The event was an energizing celebration, made possible with the support of our sponsor, Provident Credit Union.
Throughout the month, USF is offering a variety of ways to get moving, including lunchtime strength training classes, a Dons walk/run club, pickleball, urban hikes like climbing the St. Ignatius stairs, and a coffee walk.

Fairfield University
Fairfield kicked things off with a three-day body composition testing event, paired with a raffle to jump-start participation.
