Visiting Faculty
CURRENT OPENINGS
The University of San Francisco School of Law is seeking applicants for visiting professors for the 2024-2025 academic year. USF Law welcomes outstanding candidates in Constitutional Law, Civil Procedure, Torts, Corporations, and Criminal Law. Secondary expertise in Community Property, Wills and Trusts, and / or Race and the Law is an advantage. The Visitor(s) may also have the opportunity to teach an elective/seminar, if the schedule permits, as part of a two course per semester commitment.
To be eligible for a visiting professorship at USF Law, one must:
- be currently teaching at an ABA-accredited school, or have prior experience doing so
- be able to provide teaching evaluations of courses taught, upon request
- meet a curricular need for USF

In the cover letter, please specify the following:
- why are you interested in teaching here
- area(s) of expertise/scholarship or courses you would be willing to teach, denoting preferences and which you have formally taught previously
- where you are currently teaching (or past experience that would qualify you)
- which academic year or semester you would be interested in teaching here
