Open OMC Student Positions

The Office of Marketing Communications (OMC) offers part-time, on-campus job opportunities for USF students interested in design, marketing, and communications. These paid positions give students hands-on experience working with a collaborative team that supports university-wide communications and branding initiatives.

    Email Marketing Intern

    CopyWriter Intern

    Social Media Intern

    USF’s Office of Marketing Communications seeks to strengthen the reputation of the university while building community campus wide. We are looking for a content creator with fresh ideas and a deep knowledge of today’s social landscape to join our social media team as a student intern. The student intern will gain hands-on experience in social media marketing and content creation while promoting USF events and telling USF stories in collaboration with students, staff, and faculty.     Web Assistant

    Media Relations Intern

    As a media relations intern in the Office of Marketing Communications, you . . .

    • Will assist and report to the Media Relations Specialist in USF’s Office of Marketing Communications.
    • Requires supervised work with local, state and national media (print, online and broadcast), the drafting of press releases, media pitches and calendar notices, the compilation of media lists, coverage reports and editorial calendars, as well as daily maintenance of the overall media archive.
    • Will work with faculty and reporters on proactive media pitches, assist with managing USF’s Media Relations BlueSky social media account, collaborate with OMC Social Media student interns, and edit broadcast interview clips for social media and reporting purposes.
    • Must be able to shift gears quickly, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work with tight deadlines, and keep supervisor informed of work progress.
