Working Group on the International Student Experience (WISE)

The mission of WISE is to improve the international student experience at USF by fostering a mindset of “cultural humility”. We strive to create and encourage intercultural programming, training, and services for faculty, staff, and students in areas of academic, social, and professional engagement through ongoing:

• Assessment of needs
• Professional development and training
• Resource distribution
• Programming support
• Management of initiatives for improving the international student experience
• Reflection/evaluation of our efforts

We invite you to participate in this initiative by providing us information about resources and strategies you currently are using to support international students’ experience at USF and all those who engage with them. Additionally, we would like to hear questions or concerns you have and what you think WISE could do to support you.
