Qualtrics Workshop
In March and April of 2024, CRASE hosted a two-part interactive workshop that equipped faculty with the tools to create effective online surveys for their research needs. Qualtrics software enables users to collect and analyze data online for different purposes including market research, customer satisfaction and loyalty, product and concept testing, employee evaluations, and feedback in general - to name a few.

Corporate and Foundation Relations Seminar
On Wednesday, Apr. 3, CRASE and the Corporate and Foundation Relations team delved into the process of securing support for scholarly endeavors. Topics ranged from prospect research, proposal writing and development, site visit coordination, and gift stewardship. Together, we navigated the strategic methods and funding processes necessary to turn faculty concepts into funded realities.
One Planet, Many Worlds
On Thursday, February 22, 2024, CRASE was proud to sponsor a lecture and conversation with Dr. Dipesh Chakrabarty, esteemed professor and author of One Planet, Many Worlds: The Climate Parallax. Those in attendance were able to engage in a meaningful discussion about climate change and the necessary integration of academic disciplines that will be required to meet this challenge.
Prior to the event, nearly twenty faculty members responded to Chakrabarty’s book in short essays and even with artwork. Please look out for these responses when they’re published in the Journal of Interdisciplinary Perspectives and Scholarship. The collective engagement and thoughtful participation of our USF community made the event a resounding success. For those who couldn't attend or wish to revisit the enlightening discussion, please see the event recording below.
