It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jeanine Elizabeth Pizzuto, the mother of The Rev. Vincent A. Pizzuto, professor of New Testament (Theology and Religious Studies). After a near two-moth battle with the excruciating and deleterious impacts of a rare auto-immune disorder, Guillain-Barré Syndrome, she elected to enter hospice on June 1st, and passed peacefully surrounded by her beloved children and extended family on June 2, 2024.
A public Funeral Mass will be celebrated in her memory at St. Columba’s Episcopal Church (12835 Sir Francis Drake Blvd., Inverness, CA 94937) on Saturday, August 10th at 12-noon. The Rev. Vincent Pizzuto, presiding.
