We are pleased to announce that the online version of the campus map will be replaced with a new version on April 10. Highlights include integration with Google Maps, more simplified categories, updated look and imagery, and cost savings for the university.
What This Means for You
We need your help now to identify any places you are currently linking to the campus map, in preparation for updating those links on April 10. Please take a moment to:
- Check any events you host
- Check any communications that are linking to buildings/places on campus
- Check links on web pages, applications, and tools that may reference the campus map
If you want to reference the campus map, please use this link: https://www.usfca.edu/campus-map.
This link will work even after we launch the new map. If you are linking to a specific building or location on the campus map, that link will need to be updated after April 10. Please reach out to webservices@usfca.edu to get a new link.
The April launch is a soft launch featuring the essentials of the new campus map. We will continue working on the map over the summer and plan to have full features and enhancements implemented by the start of classes in fall.
