About Us

The University of San Francisco continues its rich tradition of Jesuit education with its emphasis on academic excellence, care of the individual, concern for others and for educating women and men who will make a difference in the world.  In keeping with this mission and values, in January 2012, the School of Nursing and Health Professions launched the online Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Clinical Nurse Leader program. In the Fall 2012 semester, the School of Management launched the online Master of Public Administration (MPA) program. Additionally, in the Spring 2013 semester (January), the School of Education launched the Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) as an online program. Lastly, coming up in the Spring 2014 semester, we will be launching the Master of Science in Health Informatics(MSHI).

Here at the University of San Francisco, our core mission is to promote learning in the Jesuit tradition. As an online student, you have the global community at your fingertips; it is in this community you will find an opportunity to hone and excel in the skills needed not only in your field, but to help the community in which you serve. That is why we aim to provide the resources you need to ensure that you receive that personal touch in your education. From our numerous departments built to serve you, like Student Support Services, Financial Aid, and the Registrar’s Office, we’ve created a community that provides all the tools, resources and support you need to be successful.

So once again, welcome to the University of San Francisco and congratulations on taking the next important step in earning a world-class education.
