Finals Week Notes: Fall 2025

Send Support From Home:

Help your student feel your love and encouragement during finals week! Through the Finals Week Note program, families can send a handwritten note and optional care package to their student as they wrap up the semester.

Why Participate:

Finals week can be an intense time for students, and a simple message from home can make a big difference. Your note reminds them that you’re cheering them on, even from miles away, and gives them the motivation to finish strong.

What’s Included:

  • Option 1: Finals Week Note (Free) - We’ll handwrite your message on a USF postcard and deliver it to your student before finals week.
  • Option 2: Finals Week Note + Care Package ($15) - In addition to the postcard, your student will receive a small care package with comforting items like snacks, tea, a reusable mug, and a few surprises to keep their spirits up.

Quantities are limited. Packages are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

How it Works:

  1. Fill out the online form using the link below.
  2. Write your message (100–150 words is plenty!).
  3. Keep it positive and personal — a few words of encouragement go a long way.
  4. Choose your option (note only or note + care package).
  5. Submit payment if selecting the care package.
  6. We’ll handle the rest! Notes and packages will be delivered to students the week before finals.

Key Dates:

  • Form Opens: Friday, November 7
  • Form Closes: Monday, December 1
  • Delivery Begins: Thursday, December 4
  • Final Deliveries: Friday, December 5 - we recommend submitting early, as care packages often sell out before the deadline.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I send more than one note?
Yes! Families with multiple students can submit one form per student.

What if my student lives off campus?
No problem. We’ll email your student when their note or package is ready for pickup on campus.

Can I participate if my student is studying abroad?
This program is limited to students currently enrolled on the USF main campus.

How do I pay for the care package?
You’ll be directed to a secure payment page when you submit your form.

Are refunds available if my student doesn’t pick up their package?
Unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds due to limited supplies and advance ordering.
