Orientation To Your Major

School of Management (SOM)

School of Management Incoming First-Year and Transfer Students: Join us on Monday, August 24 at 1 PM in McLaren, Room 252 for Orientation to Your Major, followed by the SOM Majors Fair on Tarantino Plaza. 

• Meet faculty, current students, and business club representatives from across our business majors. Bring your questions—and if you need help with your schedule, academic advising will be available.
• Watch your USF email before Orientation for:
  • A guide to School of Management undergraduate resources and services
  • An invitation to join mySOMadvantage (powered by Suitable), where you can build professional skills, participate in activities, and earn points and prizes

School of Nursing and Health Professions (SONHP)

Nursing (BSN) Students: SONHP Staff will email you on or before Monday, August 17 to provide the specific classroom location in Cowell Hall for your nursing orientation on the San Francisco main campus at 2130 Fulton Street (we will be breaking you up into groups).

• The orientation will take place on Monday, August 24, from 1 - 4 PM.
• Please plan to arrive at least 10-15 minutes early for check-in.
• You can email sekohut1@usfca.edu with any questions.

Public Health (BSPH) Students: Orientation will take place on Monday, August 24, from 1 - 4 PM. SONHP Staff will email you on or before Monday, August 17 to provide the specific classroom location in Kalmanovitz Hall for your public health orientation on the San Francisco main campus at 2130 Fulton Street (we will be breaking you up into groups).
