Orientation To Your Major

School of Management (SOM)

School of Management Incoming First-Year and Transfer Students: Join us on Friday, January 23 at 1 PM in the Madonna Lounge (Malloy Hall lobby) for a SOM Welcome Meet-Up (aka: Orientation to Your Major). 

• Meet and mingle with SOM faculty, current business students, and business club representatives. Bring your questions!
• Need help with your schedule? Academic advising will be available, too! We look forward to seeing you there!
• In the meantime, check your USFCA email account on the days leading up to Orientation to Your Major:
  • On Tuesday, January 20, look for an email with a special guide that shows some of the ways the SOM Office of Undergraduate Studies (SOM UG Office) serves our business students.
  • On Wednesday, January 21, you’ll receive an invitation to sign in to mySOMadvantage (powered by Suitable), a SOM engagement initiative that will help you develop professional skills outside of the classroom and get rewarded with points and prizes. Start winning right away with the SOM Start contest activities.

School of Nursing and Health Professions (SONHP)

Nursing (BSN) Students: SONHP Staff will email you on or before Monday, January 19, to provide the specific classroom location in Cowell Hall for your nursing orientation on the San Francisco main campus at 2130 Fulton Street (we will be breaking you up into groups).

• The orientation will take place on Friday, January 23, from 1 - 4 PM.
• Please plan to arrive at least 10-15 minutes early for check-in.

Public Health (BSPH) Students: Orientation will take place on Friday, January 23, from 1 - 3 PM in Kalmanovitz Hall, Room TBD.
