Verifications Frequently Asked Questions

If you are a currently enrolled student or alumni with access to your MyUSF account you can order an enrollment verification online.

  1. Log on to myUSF.
  2. Inside the orange box labeled "Self-Service" click on the "Student" button.
  3. Click on the "Student" tab.
  4. Click on the "Student Records" link.
  5. Click on "Request Enrollment Verification."
    • To request an instant enrollment verification through the National Student Clearinghouse, please click on the "Print an enrollment verification" link.
    • To request a verification on USF letterhead with the Registrar’s signature, please click on the “Request an In-House Enrollment Verification” link. Please allow up to 3-5 business days for processing.

Students without access to a MyUSF account will need to fill out a Verification Request Form and email it to verifications@usfca.edu.

  1. The printable enrollment verification provided through MyHub will contain the following:
    • Current enrollment status: full-time or part-time
    • Enrollment History: terms attended, term dates and enrollment status
  2. The in-house verification will contain the following:
    • Current enrollment status: full-time or part-time
    • Number of credits for only the term requested 
    • Major(s)
    • Expected graduation date and term
    • Degree(s) awarded and conferral date (if applicable)
    • Enrollment history: past terms attended and term dates
  • A GPA Enrollment Verification contains all of the information in a regular In-House Verification but will also include your current GPA.
  • Students must download and submit a Verification Request Form. This may be submitted by mail, email, or fax. Please allow 3-5 business days for processing.

  • USF submits monthly enrollment reports for all students to the National Student Clearinghouse which is then sent on to the National Student Loan Data System. The first Fall semester file is submitted in mid-September and the first Spring semester file is submitted in mid-February. For loan deferment requests prior to these dates, you may email us an in-school deferment form to verifications@usfca.edu from your loan provider for us to complete.
  • The University of San Francisco has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide degree and enrollment verifications to employers, institutions, and other third-parties. To obtain a degree or enrollment verification for a USF student, please contact the National Student Clearinghouse at:

  1. Students that need to have a form filled out by the Registrar’s Office can submit their form by emailing it to: verifications@usfca.edu.
  2. Before submitting your form please make sure that your form has all required student information and signatures completed.
  • Parents are not allowed to submit forms on behalf of their children. The student will need to submit the form using their MyUSF email address to verifications@usfca.edu.
    • If you have earned less than 24 units at USF, we are unable to certify your GPA to the California Student Aid Commission. Students need to have completed and earned at least 24.0 college level units from the University of San Francisco. This does not include courses in progress.
    • The Cal Grant regulations states: “For students who are out of high school but have not earned sufficient college level units (24.0 units) GPA must be calculated from high school course work”.
    • Please contact and submit your Cal Grant form to your high school counselor.
    • Graduate students do not qualify for the CalGrant, therefore we are unable to submit your GPA to CSAC.
