Save the Date for Your In-Person Commencement Ceremony

Dear Recent Graduates,

Congratulations! Today, after 19 months of pandemic and after many months of waiting, I am delighted to announce that your commencement ceremony will take place — in person, inside St. Ignatius Church, on Friday, April 8, 2022.

At this ceremony you will join graduates from three classes: spring 2020, winter 2020, and spring 2021. We will celebrate your accomplishment, your resilience, your perseverance.

In January, we will send more details, including the times of the ceremonies and a commencement mass, how many guests may be here to celebrate with you, and more. In the meantime, please reply by Dec. 15 and let us know if you will attend.

RSVP

Please note that official USF commencement regalia will be required at the ceremony. That regalia was shipped to you at the time of your graduation. If you no longer have that regalia, you will need to re-order through Jostens (we'll provide additional details in the coming weeks).

Congratulations to you and your fellow graduates. I look forward to welcoming you home to USF as you reconnect with friends and faculty, and to celebrating with you in St. Ignatius Church on April 8. In the meantime, if you have questions please contact alumni@usfca.edu

Sincerely,
Paul J. Fitzgerald, S.J.
President
