Dear Campus Community,
The San Francisco Water Department is planning a water shutdown on Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, in order to make urgent repairs to the city’s water infrastructure in the nearby neighborhoods.
The water shutdown will impact all customers on Golden Gate Ave between Parker and Masonic. All water access on USF’s lower campus will be affected by the water service disruption, including restrooms, shower facilities, food service, drinking fountains, building heat, and wet labs.
Plans are being developed to provide alternative restroom and dining options during this outage, and when they are finalized, they will be shared with the campus community.
