I am in charge of developing and supporting all University-sponsored immersion experiences (globally and domestically) for students, faculty, staff, and alumni including both for-credit and non-credit programs. I earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the Pontifical Catholic University in Lima, Peru, an MA in Religious Studies and Theology, and an Ed.D. in Organization and Leadership from the University of San Francisco. Before coming to the University of San Francisco, I worked in human rights organizations.

Originally, I am from Zacatecas, Mexico then moved to San Diego where I attended elementary, middle, and high school. Represented USF on the men's soccer team which I am now a coach. I was a graduate assistant to Luis Bazan before being promoted to the role of Director for Immersions, Justice, and Outreach. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Organization and Leadership at the School of Education.
Fun Fact: I have 4 nieces and 2 nephews!
