- Psychology Major
The psychology major teaches students a scientific approach to understanding human behavior and psychological processes. The major explores psychology from social, biological, clinical, cultural, developmental, and ethical points of view to enhance understanding of the whole person, as an individual and as a member of a community, society, and culture. - Sociology Major
The sociology major prepares students to understand how human beings interact with one another, particularly in the contexts of social structures, institutions, and frameworks. Students will critically analyze major social practices, inequalities, frameworks, and traditions to understand how humans are influenced by society. - Public Health Major
The public health major helps students develop the skills necessary to improve population health outcomes. Students will develop their understanding and ability to identify social and structural determinants of population health, address health inequities, and promote health as a human right.
