Fun Facts

Year I Started at USF: 2025
Hometown: Washington D.C.

  • I served with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps for two years, first in Detroit and then in Boston. 
  • I was born in Portugal and go back to visit my family every year.
  • My dad is a professor and I attended the same university where he teaches.
  • I had not been to the west coast until 2024 and now I live here! 
  • I recently had to give up my pet rabbit Gertie for adoption, but hope to be able to adopt another rabbit soon.

I LIKE: reading multiple books at the same time, taking public transit all over the city, getting in my apartment hot tub after work, cooking dinner with my partner.

MY FAVORITE THING ABOUT USF IS:  Its commitment to social justice and making sure all students feel valued
