Facilities Safety Training
This page covers the web-based safety training required for Facilities employees -> Engineers, Laborers, and Landscapers. Find your role below for the trainings assigned to you.
How Training Works
Access all training modules: https://silver.trainingtoday.com/account/login
As part of our safety training program, all Facilities employees will be assigned one or more training courses (for example, hazard communication and bloodborne pathogens training).
- Where to complete training: Use the computer workstations in the Parts Room or Gleeson Library.
- Logging in: Each course has a unique URL. Click the link to go to the training site, then enter your first name, last name, email address, and title. This information is saved for reporting purposes. If you have trouble logging in, contact your supervisor.
- Audio required: Each module is an audio narration of a slide show, so your computer must have working speakers or a headphone jack.
- Completing the quiz: After reviewing the material, click "Preview Quiz" in the upper right-hand corner to begin. You may review the material again before starting the quiz.
- Same-session rule: You must review the material and complete the quiz in the same session for your training time to be recorded accurately.
- Track your time: Log your training time using AssetWorks/AIM.
Questions? Contact your supervisor or Environmental Safety if any concept is unclear.
